Terms

What you can expect, and what we ask in return.

These terms apply to anyone who buys a Revere, sits as the subject of one, or reads or contributes to one. We've kept them short on purpose. “Revere”, “we” and “us” mean Revere Pty Ltd (ABN 62 697 223 340).

The gift

When you buy a Revere, you're buying the production of a memoir for the named subject. Pricing and inclusions are shown at checkout and held to throughout the order.

The subject decides

The subject owns every irreversible decision: what they record, what stays in the memoir, who receives a Tribute Letter, who is invited to family review. As the buyer, you gift the experience; you don't override it.

What we deliver

The deliverables described in your tier: the Memoir, the printed cloth-bound edition where included, the Living Memoir with its downloadable complete copy, the Tribute Letters, and, on Chronicle, the audiobook narrated in the subject's own voice (made only with their recorded consent). We aim to deliver within the timeline communicated at purchase and on the dashboard. If circumstances stretch the schedule, we'll tell you.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel any time before interviews begin and we'll refund in full. After interviews begin, refunds are at our discretion and reflect work already completed. Reach out and we'll work something out.

None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law entitles you to a remedy, you have it, whatever these terms say.

Hosting

The Living Memoir hosts on getrevere.com.au for five years from delivery. Orders placed before August 2026 keep the longer periods they were sold (ten years for Heirloom, fifteen for Chronicle). Before any hosting period ends, a complete downloadable copy of the Living Memoir is delivered to the family, and the subject or their estate is offered the option to extend.

Liability

We do our work carefully. If we make a mistake, we'll fix it. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits them. Beyond what the law requires and the remedies above, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the order. We aren't responsible for the accuracy of statements the subject makes; we capture what they say.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute belongs to the courts there. We would much rather sort anything out by email first.
