Henry, our interviewer, asks the right questions; they answer at whatever pace suits them. It’s unhurried, reflective, and theirs to steer at every step.

The whole of it

The start

Choose the edition that suits their story.

Every edition captures the story the same way: the same unhurried conversations with Henry. They differ in what is made at the end: the printed book, the letters, the audiobook.

You choose, for someone you love or for yourself, and a quiet email arrives straight away explaining what to expect and how to begin. There is no countdown; they start when they're ready.

If it's a gift, you can give Henry a head start: what they like to be called, the stories you'd hate to see missed, the things to handle with care. A few notes, entirely optional.

The form

A short form before they meet Henry.

Where they live now, who's important to them, where they grew up, the topics they'd rather not raise. It isn't the interview; it just helps Henry start in the right place, with a sense of who they are and what to leave alone.

Save-and-come-back-later on every screen. The form remembers exactly where they left off.

The conversations

They sit down with Henry, a few times, at their pace.

Somewhere quiet and comfortable, a cup of tea beside them. The first session maps their whole life in broad strokes; the ones after go deep on the people, places, and years that matter most. A guided method, refined so nothing important is left unasked.

Henry is an AI interviewer. He asks, they talk, he listens. No homework, no typing, no transcript to review. He's patient, specific, and quietly excellent at his work; most people forget he isn't a person before long.

And if they worry there isn't much to tell: that's exactly who Henry is best with. He never asks anyone to be interesting. A conversation can be twenty minutes at a time, paused whenever they like, picked up days later without losing the thread.

No editors, no reviewers, no story coaches. The story is theirs and Henry's to make, and theirs alone to approve.

The review

They review every scene, every person, every chapter.

We draft the chapters in their voice, drawn from the actual transcripts. They stay in control throughout: they review the moments we've found, the people we've named, and the chapters we've written. Approve as is, edit directly, or ask Henry for another pass.

Alongside the review, family can add photographs from their own phones. The final say on all of it is theirs; nothing ships without their sign-off.

Every sentence in the finished memoir traces back to something they actually said in an interview.

Timing, honestly: the welcome email arrives within minutes of purchase. The interviews go at their pace; a conversation a day finishes inside two weeks. The chapters are ready to read within a day of the last conversation. The printed edition is posted about two weeks after they approve it, and the audiobook is ready within days.
